Lutz,

I think there are some tricky issues involved with generating DLLs in 
Windows (as opposed to static libraries), but I'm not sure exactly what 
they are. You can use the auto configure scripts in CYGWIN to build with 
the Microsoft compiler, so perhaps there is some way to get it to 
generate DLLs. An easier path might be use the MSVC++ solution/project 
files that are available for building many the COIN projects. Some of 
these are automatically checked out with SYMPHONY. For more information

You might also check out the CoinMP project, which provides project 
files for building a single DLL containing some of the COIN codes (but 
not Osi).
