Hi all
Late notice, I realise: The ASCEND project has a position in the GSOC
programme this year, and we are hoping for students willing to hook-up
IPOPT and perhaps BonMin to ASCEND. This would involve writing some
reverse autodiff code for getting second derivatives from our expression
engine, then exposing that code to the COIN solvers. If any of you are,
or have, a student who would be interested in this project, then please
let them know. Applications close today 3 April 19:00 UTC, but can be
changed after the deadline (AIUI) so long as they have been submitted by
then.
