[Coin-discuss] Compilation error

I just checked out COIN. It does not compile on Linux:

Creating library libOsi-O.a

make: *** [libdepend] Error 2

Also, the definition of LibType in Makefiles/Makefile.Linux has disappeared,
but it is still present in the Makefile for other systems. If this is
on purpose, what is the intended "new" way of defining the library type
in Linux?
