[Symphony] SYMPHONY, MPI vs. PVM ?

Hi, 

I am new user of SYMPHONY.

I need to use it to solve MILP models om MPI cluster. 

But, to run SYMPHONY in a distributed environment, the user must have installed 
the Parallel Virtual Machine (PVM).

Is it possible to compile SYMPHONY such that it can be used on MPI cluster ? 

or, is it possible to install PVM on MPI cluster ?

Any help is appreciated.
