Andreas,

When I run the autotools after updating and making the suggested change
to my configure.ac file, I get a bunch of warnings like

creating acinclude.m4 in .
running aclocal in .
configure.ac:60: warning: AC_LANG_PROGRAM(Fortran 77): ignoring PROLOGUE: []
autoconf/lang.m4:224: AC_LANG_SOURCE is expanded from...
autoconf/lang.m4:234: AC_LANG_PROGRAM is expanded from...
autoconf/general.m4:2215: AC_LINK_IFELSE is expanded from...
autoconf/general.m4:2223: AC_TRY_LINK is expanded from...
acinclude.m4:7656: AC_COIN_PROG_F77 is expanded from...
configure.ac:60: the top level

Everything seems to work fine, though. Is this to be expected?
