Dear IPOPT user community,
It is my pleasure to announce the release of CasADi v1.5.0beta. CasADi is a
symbolic framework for algorithmic differentiation, numerical optimization
and optimal control. CasADi is written in self-contained C++ code, but can
also be used through front-ends to Python and (experimentally) Octave
without any significant speed penalties. The code is released under a
permissive open-source license (LGPL).
CasADi comes with a full-featured interface to IPOPT as well as other NLP
solvers. These interfaces will automatically generate first and second
order derivative information using state-of-the-art techniques for
algorithmic differentiation.
New for this release is that the IPOPT interface has been extended to
include the sIPOPT extension for calculating parametric sensitivities. The
support for embedding calls to ODE and DAE integrators (such as the
Sundials suite) has also been greatly improved.
The software is currently located on Sourceforge, please visit www.casadi
.org for instructions on how to download and install the code.
Best regards,
Joel Andersson on behalf of the CasADi team
