CasADi is a symbolic framework for algorithmic differentiation, numerical optimization and optimal control. CasADi is written in self-contained C++ code, but can also be</span><span style="font-size:12.571428298950195px"> used through front-ends to Python and (experimentally) Octave without any significant speed penalties. </span>The code is released under a permissive open-source license (LGPL).</div>

<span style="font-size:12.571428298950195px">New for this release is that the IPOPT interface has been extended to include the sIPOPT extension for calculating parametric sensitivities. The support for embedding calls to ODE and DAE integrators (such as the Sundials suite) has also been greatly improved.</span></div>
