[Ipopt] Missing Makefile for Matlab interface

Dear Sir or Madam:

I just installed Ipopt on Ubuntu 8.04.  Everything in
the installation worked flawlessly until I tried to configure
the Matlab interface.  I was unable to do this because
the Makefile was missing from
.../Ipopt-3.5.3/Ipopt/contrib/MatlabInterface/src.
Makefile.in was there.  How should I proceed?

I tried to RTFM and google, but to no avail.
