Boyan,

IPOPT is not a distributed parallel code. It can be built with multithreaded BLAS and LAPACK libraries (as can the serial version of MUMPS) and you can use a threaded parallel solver like WSMP or PARDISO.

Subject: [Ipopt] Ipopt and parallel solver

  Hello,

Is it possible to use Ipopt with distributed memory parallel linear solver.
It seems that MUMPS is compiled in serial mode and I cannot find any options for configuration with MPI.
If not are there any development plans for utilization of such solver?

  Best regards,
  Boyan Lazarov
