Stuart,
I am using g++ 4.1.2 and have not noticed any difference.
If you send me the file (and outputs from running with 4.0 and 4.1) I will
look at problem (if very large then put up somewhere on watgsa).

Subject: [Coin-discuss] clp performance much worse with g++4.1 vs. g++4.0
Can someone (or a few of you) please help me confirm something? When I
compile Clp with g++4.1.x and run bin/clp on a mps file I see rougly 3
times poorer performance than if clp is compiled with g++4.0.x. The
compiler version is the only difference (i.e., all Clp compiler
configuration flags (the defaults) and the mps file are the same of couse).
I don't seem to be able to attach the mps file, please contact me at
stus__atsymbol__us.ibm.com and I'll send it to you if you're willing the
give this a try. Thanks.
