I just tried downloading the tarball Ipopt_2003Jun12.tgz using a Netscape
and IE browser on Windows, and Netscape on AIX.
These three cases worked for me.

Hi,
Im trying to download the IPOPT package using tarball but it simply doesnt
work. My browser becomes "locked" and then it says it can find the
requested directory.
