Kevin,

Got round to building with Visual C++ and got compile error - my stupid 
mistake when I copied something over.  Was in another bit of code as fix 
for some obscure Microsoft compiler bug which was probably fixed years 
ago.  The line before says -

  // Must add cast to placate MS compiler

Corrected now - apologies.
