Sebastian,

As you indicate, it is very probably Local Tree Search. I will investigate.
Have you cases that do not fail with an assert?  It may be as simple as
removing assert - Local Tree search returns so infrequently that a bad
basis won't matter.

Hello everybody,

does anyone else experience frequent crashes when enabling lots of
heuristics in trunk Cbc?
