[ADOL-C] singularity

Hello

I obtained different values when running the same code, with same tape,
with same input values. The code does not produce any errors/warnings,
except sometimes it says:

Error:LUFactorisation(..): no Pivot in step 42 (3.362427E-20)

I guessed that may indicate the singularity of the derivatives. Is there a
possibility to detect the singularity within a tolerance? or overcome it by
perturbing the input values?
