 Hi Tony,

 Thank you for the clarification.  Although the explanation is clear I am
 still a little confused.

 I have downloaded a tar file, which, when untarred, becomes a folder named
 ma27-1.0.0.  I understand that I need to rename the file ma27d.f in the
 subfolder src as ma27ad.f.  After making the change, should I copy the
 directory ma27-1.0.0 into ThirdParty/HSL as a directory or do I need to
 tar it and copy as a single file?

 I have the same question for MA19, which requires a similar change as
 pointed in the link you have provided.
