 I have tried to compile Ipopt-3.10.3 on Mac OS X 10.8, but the "configure"
 terminated by the following messages:

 checking whether MA27 is threadsafe... no
 configure: error: Please obtain the threadsafe (newer) version of MA27
 configure: error: /bin/sh '../../../ThirdParty?/HSL/configure' failed for
 ThirdParty?/HSL

 I followed the steps in the Ipopt documentation (Dec 21, 2010) in Sections
 2.1 and 2.2 and Steps 1 and 2 in Section 2.3.

 I obtained the ma27 package (as well as the ma19 package) today from HSL
 (http://www.hsl.rl.ac.uk).

 Any advice as to how I can get around this?
