[BuildTools] More tales of GCC 64-bit and Solaris

Hi Lou,
Hey, I'm fine with staying with the current setup, since it seems to work
fine, and upgrading the autotools is a big Pandora's box.
And if you are happy with what is happening for SUN, I certainly will not
be keen on an upgrade yet.
