Comment:

 The most likely problem is that you created the libtool file on a PC (end-
 of-line CR LF) and transferred it to Max OS X or Unix (end-of-line LF)
 without properly converting the end-of-line convention. If you have this
 problem working entirely on a single operating system, reopen the ticket.
