[Symphony] compilation on SunOs fails

Hi all,
I'm attempting to compile 5.2.4 on SunOS

make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all-recursive'

The following command caused the error:

I ran ./configure (no options), then make on a SunOs 5.10 and received that
error.
Do I need to change anything?
