[Coin-symphony] Symphony as an LP solver

Dear mailing list,

Is there a way to set the parameters of a Symphony problem so that it is 
solved as a linear programming
(LP) problem without integer variables? I'm using Symphony as a C library. 
If that is possible, it would
allow me to reuse code that I wrote already.

Currently, I'm using Coin/Symphony 5.0 (downloaded by CVS on October 30, 
2006) with Cygwin
on Windows XP . For technical reasons, I would prefer to not update Symphony 
if possible.
