 We understand the issue and wish there were an easy solution. IBM holds
 the copyright to the original OSI code, so any license changes have to be
 originated by them.  We have raised the issue with them, but haven't been
 able to make progress.

 One possible solution is the OSI2 project, which is under (sporadic)
 development. It loads solver interfaces dynamically as plugins, which is
 enough separation that GPL-licensed interfaces are legally usable. If you
 have a need right now, we can see if we can help get you started.
