[OS] Need Help on OSJava setup on Tomcat

This problem got resolved, but internal code is not predictable sometimes it asks for

OSSolverService or OSSolverService-win32

Any idea what these statements mean

Try chmod u+x on the file OSSolverService. If this does not work see the next bullet point. - I tried this but no impact
   * (if necessary) add grant tomcat6 policies in OSServer/doc/tomcat6-policy.txt - what this statement means? I have added the policies in Catalina. policy, but no impact

This where we reached..carriedout all possible steps specified in INSTALL.txt, still the issues persist.

Hi,

Trying to setup OSJava, facing lots of show-stoppers.


-          The svn branch used to check out the base is ...
svn co https://projects.coin-or.org/svn/OS/branches/OSjava OSjava

-          Followed Tomcat installation for windows

o   OSThirdParty/scripts/get-third-party inclusion is not updated - have updated same with latest version of jars

-          The installation is based on Tomcat 6 and Eclipse Gallio - I tried to use latest version of Eclipse -Oxygin and Tomcat 8

o   Lots of project parameter I have updated - jar version in OSThirdParty, RUN Time environment to 8

-          Project got deployed successfully on Tomcat 8 - for Windows and Linux


-          Showstopper - while executing "test.bat"

o   Access denied as specified in installation.doc, I have added the grant permission to catalini.policy - tried only for windows

o   Some kind of linkage error

o   The problem is either accessing WEB-INF/classes/OSServices

o   Tried on Linux as well, same problem as I download platform specific file from http://www.coin-or.org/download/binary/OS/OSSolverService/

For linux it gives OSSolverService-2.3.5-linux-x86-gcc4.4.1  inside the zip and the test.sh is not compatible to execute.

Any help please.
