[Ipopt] error "don't have header file for stddef"

I installed default Ipopt debian package in ubuntu 16.04.
When I tried to compile sample examples, I got the following error in
IpSmartPtr.hpp header file,

/usr/include/coin/IpSmartPtr.hpp:18:4: error: #error "don't have header
file for stddef"


 How do I solve this issue?
