Dear all,
I am a biginner taking IPOPT for my research. I am going to integrate IPOPT with a hybrid DAE solver. I have not used any ralaxation method for mode transitions and as I understand, IPOPT receives instantaneous mode transitions from DAE solver that may cause problem in gradient computations. I am woundering if IPOPT can handle such a problem or I have to employ a relaxation method.
Thanks in advance,
Arash
