[Ipopt] time as optimization variable

Hi All,
I have in my optimization problem time as a optimization variable. For the bounds I set t>=0. 
This seems at the first look Ok. But Ipopt is relaxing the bounds and i get negative time points during my optimization problem. Is there a way to strictly force the time to be bigger zero but relaxing the other bounds?
