 Hi,

 the latest stable version is very old and would not work GAMS 23.6.

 Please get GAMSlinks/trunk, delete all the externals that you do not need,
 and run configure there.

 This time, leave the GAMSlinks subdir there. I just modified something so
 configure should run fine also on AIX. If you are lucky, then also the
 build will work. Then calling {{{make gams-install}}} should install the
 solver into your gams system.
