 I'm trying to compile the GAMSlinks project using Microsoft C++ and Intel
 Fortran compilers on a windows machine running cygwin.  When I run the
 config script (in particualar the config script in the GAMSlinks
 subdirectory):

 C:\temp2\GAMSlinks-0.2.0\GAMSlinks>sh configure CC=cl CXX=cl F77=ifort
 ADD_CXXFLAGS="-nologo -GX -GR -ML" DBG_CXXFLAGS=" " OPT_CXXFLAGS="-O2
 -DNDEBUG" make=nmake

 I get several warning messages of the following form:

 checking cassert usability... no
 checking cassert presence... yes

 I also see the error:

 I'm not really sure how to proceed.  Any help would be appreciated.
