[FlopCpp] Error when make FlopC++ 1.0

It works now with the latest version FlopC++. The version I used is old.

On an Ubuntu 8.04.3 LTS (Hardy Heron) Intel 32 bit machine
I just now successfully built and tested FlopC++ using the commands:
   svn co https://projects.coin-or.org/svn/FlopC++/stable/1.0 coin-FlopCpp
   cd coin-FlopCpp
   ./configure
   make
   make test

I don't have access to an Ubuntu 9.10 machine.
It looks like the problem is in CoinUtils which FlopC++ uses.
