Dear Pietro,

Thank you for answering.

Sorry I think I have confused by speaking abour AMPL. In fact I meant that when I wann to display the value of any parameter supposedly set in the file "couenne.opt", I get the message given as example. For some reason, I tought I  can display any parameter set in ipopt.opt file using ampl command , for example:  
display constr_viol_tol
