[Coin-discuss] PyGMO version 1.0.0 release

Dear all,

The version 1.0.0 of PyGMO (http://pagmo.sourceforge.net/pygmo/index.html) 
 has just been released (windows binaries are available too for Python 
2.7, in which case  ipopt and snopt interface is not included, but gsl and 
nlopt yes).

PyGMO automatically parallelise all of its algorithms using the 
generalised island model. The user can also implement algorithm and 
problems directly in Python, and PyGMO will parallelize them using its 
archipelago class. 

PyGMO has been proven and tested extensively on box-constrained and non 
linearly constrained single objective continuous optimization, but has 
been designed for general purpose optimization.
