Jack,

please re-read Tobias's comments.  It is not possible to state an
"average speedup".

As for performance benchmarks, please see this two pages:

You will see that for quite a large fraction of models in this
particular benchmark set of MILP problems, the SYMPHONY solver is quite
slow.  It might very well be that with Cbc or Cplex, your model solves
just fine in a shorter time.
