Domenico,

	Reading over the posts from yourself and Stefan, I tend to agree with
Stefan --- I would look first to see if there's some problem in the way the mps
file interacts with the Coin mps reader.  Each Osi interface is written by a
different author; there's less common code than you might think.  The mps reader
is one piece of code that's used by many Osi interfaces.  Unfortunately, the mps
reader is not the only suspect.  An example of an mps file which solves when
used with glpsolve and fails when used with Osi readMps / initialSolve would
really help.

	You mention that this failing mps file relates to a project.  It's
possible that the problem is not a code problem; rather, the error lies in your
model and data.  In that case, it would be unfair for us to figure out the
problem for you.  On the other hand, if the problem lies in Coin code, we'd
really like to figure out the answer, because it affects all our users.  Would
it be possible to relay the failing mps file to me through one of your
professors?  If I can figure out the problem, I'll send the answer back to the
professor, who can then decide what information to pass along to you.
