Matt, Non-authoritative answer. Use at your own risk. I'm pretty sure that CbcStrategyDefault does not turn on integer preprocessing (CglPreProcess) by default. That will make a substantial difference. But I haven't taken a hard look at CoinSolve.cpp in the last little while; there may well be other differences. Lou
