[Coin-discuss] building DLL files

Hello,

I have noticed that building of shared libraries is explicitly turned 
off under MinGW (and CygWin), so I presume there is some reason for it.
Does it mean there is no way of building DLL libraries under MinGW?
And if it isn't, is there at least a chance that it will work in a 
(near) future?
