Take a look at pages 38 through 41 of
http://www.coin-or.org/Presentations/EURO06/tutorialPart2.ppt.

This shows how to build and run coin-Clp/Clp/examples/minimum.cpp
which is similar to Coin-Cbc/Cbc/examples/sample2.cpp.
In addition to the charts, also look at the speaker notes.
