[Coin-discuss] Problem with coinUnitTest in Visual Studio

Hi all

I am trying to get COIN running on the Windows platform. I tried using the
project files for VC++ 6, but they did not work, so I started creating my
own project files for the projects ‘coinLib’ and ‘coinUnitTest’. The debug
build with exmip1.mps finishes with the remark “All test completed
successfully”. Unfortunately the release build fails after producing the
following output:

Testing CoinModel

Coin0001I At line 29 NAME EXAMPLE

Coin0001I At line 30 ROWS

Coin0001I At line 37 COLUMNS

Coin0001I At line 55 RHS

Coin0001I At line 61 RANGES

Coin0001I At line 64 BOUNDS

Coin0001I At line 70 ENDATA

Coin0002I Problem EXAMPLE has 5 rows, 8 columns and 14 elements

Coin6001E Unable to open mps input file ..\Mps\Netlib\exmip1.mps

Testing CoinError

Testing CoinShallowPackedVector

Testing CoinPackedVector

Testing CoinIndexedVector

This happens in VC++ 6.0 and in VC++ 7.1, so a compiler error is less
likely. The problem is probably that I missed a compiler/linker setting for
the project. Does anybody have any suggestions?

            Kind regards

            Hans
