Sorry about that---I should have compiled it before checking it in. 
Haste makes waste. I found one other bug and fixed it. It should compile 
and work fine now if you do an update.

By the way, I will announce it formally in a few days, but we have now 
generated enough mailing list traffic to justify a separate mailing list
