          on Parallel Processing in Operations Research (PAREO)

PAREO aims to bring together researchers interested in the development of
parallel and distributed algorithms for operations research problems.

PAREO 2005 is the fourth meeting organized by the PAREO working group.
It is hosted by the Centre for Research on Transportation (Université de
Montréal, HEC-Montréal, École Polytechnique de Montréal) and the Chair on
Logistics Management (ÉSG, UQÀM). Through presentations and open discussions,
the meeting aims to promote the exchange of recent results, review successes
and setbacks, identify promising research  directions and application domains,
and foster collaborations. Furthermore, the program is designed to provide
ample opportunity for informal discussions.

Presentations are invited on (but not limited to) recent developments in
exact and meta-heuristic (and hybrid) parallel methods for continuous and
discrete optimization problems, software tools and libraries, innovative
applications of parallel optimization, and grid-related developments and
applications.

The workshop will be held in the beautiful mountain (well, by our Eastern
Canada standards) village of Mont Tremblant, at the Hôtel Club Tremblant

To submit a proposal for a 30-minutes presentation, please sent a title and
short abstract (less than 500 words) to pareo2005 at crt.umontreal.ca
We would appreciate receiving notice these proposals no later than September 6,
2004.

Early registration fee deadline			October 15, 2004

PAREO 2005 starts				January 16, 2005 (evening)
