It's true that you cannot make Bcp directly---you must make one of the 
examples. As for Osi, weren't we going to change the Makefiles so that 
only the Osi interface for Clp was compiled by default (so that Osi 
compiles out of the box for anyone, regardless of what solvers they have 
installed)? This would probably eliminate a lot of confusion.
