[Coin-announce] PaGMO/PyGMO has been selected by Google for its 2013 summer of code!!

Dear all,

the open source evolutionary computations library
PaGMO/PyGMO<http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/org/google/gsoc2013/pagmo>
  <https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/pagmo/index.php?title=Main_Page>has
been selected by Google for its 2013 Summer of Code.
It is the only project accepted that has at its
core optimisation algorithms.

In case some student  feels like being paid 5000USD to spend three months
coding some part of PaGMO, you can apply
<http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/homepage/google/gsoc2013>to
Google by the 4th of May.

Projects proposed this year for PaGMO/PyGMO include:

1 Racing population individuals and algorithms
2 Statistical Comparison of Algorithms using Non-Parametric Tests
3 Enrichment of the Multi-Objective Optimization Algorithms Set
4 Hyperfast hypervolumes for Multi-objective optimization
5 Constraints Handling Techniques in Evolutionary Algorithms
