The COIN-OR Foundation is applying to be a "mentoring organization" in the

2008 Google Summer of Code (GSoC). The GSoC program gives away
money to students to work on open-source projects.

Is there something you've wanted but no one's had the bandwidth to do it?
Now's the chance to make it happen.

- Got a project idea?
- Interested in having a student work on your project this summer?
- Willing to put your sterling proposal writing skills to good use for
COIN-OR?
- Just opinionated and willing to add your 2 cents?

Join the GSoC Conference Call: Tues, March 4, 2008, 10AM (EST).
Call-in: 1-877-421-0033 Participant Passcode: 576666#.

For agenda, links, and commentary see the wiki at
https://projects.coin-or.org/Events/wiki/GoogleSummerOfCode2008

Application deadline for GSoC: March 12th.
