[Coin-announce] new COIN-OR project: using COIN-OR solvers with GAMS

Dear users and developers of COIN-OR software,

I have the pleasure to announce the new COIN-OR project GAMSlinks 
(https://projects.coin-or.org/GAMSlinks) which is devoted to the 
development of links between the General Algebraic Modeling System 
(GAMS) and solvers that are hosted at COIN-OR.
With this new project, you are able to create your own interface between 
GAMS and one of the supported COIN-OR solvers.
So far, Cbc (with Clp as LP olver) and Glpk (via OSI) are supported.
It is planned to provide a link to IPOPT in the close future.

In order to further improve the GAMS interfaces, you are welcome to
- use the GAMSlinks
- report and maybe fix bugs
- ask for new features or links at the GAMSlinks wish list
- add new features or links between GAMS and COIN-OR software
...
