[Cbc] CBC solver

Hello,

Please, I use OpenSolver in excel,  which use CBC solver. I ask you because
I don´t know to find any informations about CBC. I know that CBC solves
also LP without integer requirements. this is good for me, because a have
ordinary LP model. What algorithm it use? Is it simplex or cbc is
different? When it is differnet, can you send me easy algorithm?
