Josh,

Sorry about the out-of-date binaries. What OS are you on? We still do not
have an automated system of updating those binaries and keeping them
manually up-to-date for all projects is a big challenge. I've been doing
monolithic builds of all projects in the "optimization suite" and posting
the binaries here:

http://www.coin-or.org/download/binary/CoinAll/

For Windows, there is also a GUI installer. For OS X, you are better off
installing by Homebrew (recipes are available for some packages) and we
have both Fedora and Debian packages making their way through the pipeline.

I'm planning a reorganization that I hope will make this all a bit more
obvious, but haven't had the time to make it happen yet!
