[Cbc] Status of CbcSolvers?

Hi all,

I'm curious if there's documentation regarding the difference between
CbcSolver[1-3]?

I note that in the doxygen documentation, it states:

   - CbcSolver - This allows the use of the standalone solver in a flexible
   manner.
   - CbcSolver2 - This version is to try and speed up long thin problems...
   etc
   - CbcSolver3 - same as CbcSolver

Is it safe to assume these followed a lineage and that the best to use
generically is Solver3? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
