[ADOL-C] Why cannot the program allocate taylor buffer?

Dear all,

I tried the example checkpointing, and got an error as follows:

 full taping:
 gradient=( 2.704814, 7.244646)

ADOL-C error: Cannot allocate taylor buffer!
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'FatalError'
  what():  errorcode=10 function=fail file=taping.c line=313 what=
Aborted (core dumped)

But if I call one gradient only (either with tag_full or with tag_part), the program works well.

I don't know why it happens, and couldn't find any answer from the manual and ADOL-C Archives. Is this error system dependent? I use Ubuntu running on VMware, and the version of my ADOL-C is 2.6.0.

Has anybody met this problem? Since I know few about ADOL-C, I really appreciate your help.

Regards,

Canghua Jiang
