 Maybe the cpp_example binary is a leftover from a previous build?

 Doing make and make test does not rebuild examples.

 Other than that, I have no idea how the lapack dependency should get into
 that binary. It would be good to see the linkline and inspect the Makefile
 (in Ipopt/examples/Cpp_example) to figure this out.
