 Thanks Stefan. My log file is attached. It indeed terminates in 50
 iterations (I didn't paste all the logs in the file). I realized that it
 generates multiple solutions during one iteration.  Previously I was just
 printing the "residual" in my own function, so I thought it was running
 multiple iterations. May I ask why multiple solutions still count as one
 iteration?
