 I tried to set max_iter to 50 but the solver doesn't necessarily terminate
 in 50 iterations, sometimes it terminates after thousands of iterations!
 (I also tried allow_clobber = false).

 I also played with other termination parameters (tol, acceptable_tol,
 acceptable_iter, acceptable_obj_change_tol), none of them behave as I
 expected (no termination even those criteria are met).

 My solver class is attached.
