<div>number of cuts, and the number of iterations required were different between each system. These</div><div>differences make quite a big difference for larger problems.</div><div><br></div><div>The systems used are as follows</div>
<div>1) Linux 2.6.13, gcc version 4.0.2, AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 240 </div><div>2) Linux 2.6.28, gcc version 4.3.3, Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6400</div><div>3) Linux 2.6.18, gcc version 4.1.2, Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3220</div>
